Hundreds of Bay area children and their parents had the chance to participate in one of the largest Easter egg hunts on Saturday.
Nearly 50,000 plastic eggs covered the football field at Robinson High School. The large Easter egg hunt was organized by Radiant Church, a non-denominational church in South Tampa.
Before the hunt got underway, a helicopter dropped 15,000 eggs on the field.
Participants were also able to enjoy giveaways, games, and bounce houses.
Organizers say between 6,000 and 7,000 people attended the event.
