Gov. Rick Scott has appointed two new members to the University of South Florida’s board of trustees and reappointed a third member.
Late Thursday afternoon, Scott announced former Lykes Brothers Inc CEO Michael Carrere, 66, and Dell Inc. chief innovation officer James Stikeleather, 62, were being added to the 13-member board of trustees. Scott also reappointed TECO Energy Inc president and CEO John Ramil, 60, to the board.
All three will have terms the run from today to Jan. 6, 2021.
The appointments must be confirmed by the Florida Senate.
